Sacraments of the Church

Sacraments are tangible expressions of God's grace. God's grace, though crucial, is beyond human understanding. So our Lord Jesus Christ established seven Sacraments to help us periodically experience God's infinite grace in everyday, finite ways. There are seven Sacraments in the Catholic Church, all instituted by Jesus Christ to be administered by the church. These Sacraments are:

Baptism

Confirmation

The Eucharist
(Lord's Supper, Communion, etc.)

Absolution
(Confession)

Marriage

Holy Orders
(Ordination)

Anointing of the Sick

Any baptized individual is welcome to participate in the other Sacraments of the church, including the Eucharist. (Confirmation must be performed by a bishop and there are special requirements for those seeking Holy Orders.)

NOT BAPTIZED?

NO PROBLEM!

You still are entitled to receive pastoral care. If you would like to be baptized, that can be arranged.
